If you love traditional Irish cuisine, lovingly created from the season’s finest ingredients with a dash of modern inspiration, come to the Restaurant at Cedar Lodge hotel. From our signature dish, Wild Wicklow Venison, through to fish and seafood meals created with freshly caught fish from the sea, every bite is a delight to the senses. Pair your food with one of our specially selected wines, including some very special Bordeaux dating back to the 1970s.

Our opening hours are:

  • Open daily for lunch from 12pm to 2.30pm
  • Evening dinner is served from 6.30pm to 9pm

Our Restaurant

We believe you should feel totally cared for while you’re with us, from the moment you walk through the door to when you leave. We bring you meals made with the best available ingredients, using locally sourced, quality produce. It’s this attention to detail that makes our food taste so good.

You have plenty of choice at our restaurant, with both an à la carte menu and an additional table d’hôte menu for you to select from. We always have a vegetarian option available and if you have any other dietary requirements, these can be catered for with advance notice.

You can enjoy your meal in the restaurant, the adjoining winter garden with views overlooking the grounds all year round or the Bistro Bar. In summer, you may also like to dine on the veranda and eat al fresco.

The Bistro Bar

For a more relaxed meal, you may prefer to eat in the ‘Bistro Bar’ which has its own separate bar menu. Popular with the locals, the Bistro Bar is very much a traditional Irish pub, and non-residents are always welcome to come and have a drink or two with us.

We serve everything you’d expect from a good Irish pub, including Guinness and draught and bottled beers.
